Why should you get to know maishaa?
I am a lesbian and if it is imperative that I further categorize myself then I'm probably classified as 'not-too-femme' but NEVER butch. Currently my hair is short and I am loving it. I am originally from Durban but travel a lot on business- I work as a political economist /social scientist and mange research on poverty and development issues. I love getting to know people of all backgrounds; always am looking for diversity. I get excited from the knowledge that i'm part of an evolving country. I get satisfaction from the efforts of strong women and men that are constantly fighting for unity amongst different races. I live that fight and am always a ground breaker. My passion is derived from mixing with women that love themselves, that see beauty instead of color in a people. In as much as i draw my energy from nature- the trees, birds and the sea, i am mentally stimulated by intelligent people that love life as much as they question and redefine it.
